Henderson: lean and mean

It was back in January when Mario Henderson decided to define his rules for success this season. Well, at least at the kitchen table.
For Henderson, it meant making a few sacrifices.
"I changed my eating pattern a lot. Now I stay away from fast foods and fried foods and soda," Henderson said. "I stay away from sweets. The one thing I do is I love Chinese food. So on Saturdays, I'll treat myself to Chinese food. But normally what I do is that morning I'll go out and run because I know I'm going to be eating that later in the day. Doing that, I've been able to keep my weight right around 305 pounds."
Henderson said he made one other sacrifice that has been the toughest to handle.
"I used to eat late at night, like at 10, 11 or 12 o'clock," Henderson said. "I had to stop that. I made a deal with myself that my last meal at night would be no later than 9 o'clock. I won't eat anything later that, unless it's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or some fruit.
