Offensive line thin as Talavou leaves team
The Sun Devils began their first double session day of fall camp without the services of Leo Talavou, who has left the program to attend to personal family business, ASU sources confirmed following practice Wednesday morning. For an offensive line that is extremely talented but without much in the way of experienced depth, this is an issue to keep an eye on moving forward.
We know the Sun Devils have some seriously capable players in this group, especially right tackle Andrew Carnahan, who has more starts than any other player on the roster, left tackle Brandon Rodd, who is extremely gifted and experienced, left guard Stephen Berg, who is another veteran senior, and center Mike Pollak, who is as close to a returning starter as is possible.
