Stocco out; Donovan in?

BadgerBlitz.com MADISON, Wis. - John Stocco is out.
The University of Wisconsin senior quarterback, who holds a 19-6 career record and is entering his third-straight season as a starter, had a surgical procedure on his right knee Friday.
"In order for me to have the most productive senior season possible, I felt this surgery was the best decision I could make," Stocco said Friday in a press release.
After Friday's practice, UW head coach Bret Bielema reiterated the afternoon press release, saying that Stocco's surgery was to address a pre-existing injury that he sustained during the 2003 season.
Asked about a precise timetable for Stocco's return and Bielema said, "John will be back when he's ready to be back. I haven't been told it's going to be the opener. I haven't been told it's not."
