In-progress scrimmage analysis
The Tigers held their first practice that could really shake up the depth chart on Monday morning. The team scrimmaged live on Faurot Field for the first time this fall. Later on Monday, PowerMizzou.com will have a full report on the scrimmage, but until then, here are our in-progress observations.
Prior to the actual scrimmage, the Tigers ran through all their kicking. As usual, Matt Hoenes looked fantastic punting the ball. If only that would translate to game day.
Adam Crossett pushed one of his early PAT attempts to the right. It seems simply too much to hope for that the kicking game is going to be easy. Crossett then ran off a string of good kicks before missing from 41 yards after a high snap.
*With that, we're ready to start the actual scrimmage. PowerMizzou.com will be posting in-progress updates througout the scrimmage.
