Chaminade duo enjoy FSU victory over Miami
Emeka Nwankwo and Akeem Auguste may end up playing against each other one day. But for one more year, the Chaminade High School seniors are working together not only on the field, but off it as well. On Monday night, the two highly regarded recruiting prospects were in the Orange Bowl to personally witness Florida State beat Miami 13-10. And both had a blast watching the Garnet and Gold win for the first time at Miami since 1998.
"I loved the game last night," said Nwankwo, "I was pulling for FSU. Akeem was at the game, he was rooting for FSU too. It shows they can go through adversity and they can win games. It was real intense. I already knew what they (FSU) can do. I was confident."
