Rodgers leads Lamar Consolidated over Elkins

AggieYell.com When Lamar Consolidated traveled to Mercer Stadium to take on Fort Bend Elkins it was supposed to be a showdown of offensive linemen between Lamar Consolidated offensive tackle Jarvis Jones and Elkins center Daniel Baker.
But it was Consolidated defensive back/wide receiver James Rodgers that stole the show in Consolidated's 34-10 win.
Rodgers contributed three interceptions on defense while playing safety and had five receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown.
