Four-star receiver hits the radar

TheWolverine.com After Michigan received a verbal commitment from Texarkana, Tex., quarterback Ryan Mallett, the Wolverines went out and made sure they were going to surround him with top notch pass receivers to throw to. Two of those prospects have already made commitments, but with just one receiver signed in the class of 2006, the Wolverines are looking for more athletes at the position.
One of the more recent prospects they have been evaluating is a four-star receiver from Round Rock, Tex., James Kirkendoll. At 5-10 and 180 pounds, Kirkendoll is rated as the No. 19 wide receiver in the country and possesses exceptional speed and athleticism.
Kirkendoll holds offers from the likes of Florida, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas State, but does not hold one from Michigan yet.
