Attention to detail
The Razorbacks held their final practice for Saturday's game against Auburn, and the coaches put an extra emphasis on the little things that go into playing in a hostile environment in the SEC.
The Razorbacks held a 4:20 p.m. practice and went' for about 45 minutes in shorts, helmets and shoulder pads. The offense again took practice inside the Walker Pavilion to help simulate crowd noise with music, but the main focus of the day was executing even the slightest detail.
"We had a good mental day today," Arkansas coach Houston Nutt said. "We really tried to emphasize today that anytime you go on the road in the SEC, it takes everybody - everybody on that sideline, it takes 70 of us doing your part. And the level of concentration has to go over and beyond. You have to do every little thing. I don't care if it's a little fake you have to carry out, a perfect first step. If you've got to blitz, if you've got to hit a certain gap, you've got to be in that gap. All the little things, and just tried to hit all that.
