The final breakdown of the Oklahoma State game
STILLWATER, Okla. - When Nebraska jumped out to a 16-0 lead early in the first half nearly everybody inside Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday thought it was going to be a long day for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Apparently everybody else in the stadium got the memo but the high-powered Cowboy offense.
After falling down 16-0, OSU went on a 41-6 scoring run on the Huskers in a 38 minute span that caught Nebraska off guard and paved the way for a 41-29 victory.
The loss drops Nebraska to 6-3 on the season and 3-2 in the Big 12 Conference. Oklahoma State improved their record to 5-3 and 2-2 on the season.
"We just didn't respond and make the plays we needed to make in the second half," NU head coach Bill Callahan said.
