UGASports.com One of the 2006 signees is Georgia's class that did not make it academically was offensive lineman Ben Harden. Harden signed with UGA out of Perry High School, but had to make a stop at Hargrave Military before he would be eligible for UGA. We traveled up to Hargrave recently to get the latest on Harden. Get all the scoop inside.
Harden was expected to qualify and be in Athens right now, but he made a couple mistakes late in his senior year and that caused him to make a stop in Virginia.
Hargrave Military Academy is one of the top Prep Schools in the country and they get talent year in and year out. Harden started at left guard for Coach Prunty this year and had a very good season.
The main focus for Harden has not been football, but academics. He had a test score last year that would have gotten him into Georgia with his GPA until he had a couple low grades that final semester.
He still graduated Perry High School, but had to get a higher test score before he could enroll at Georgia.

The scores could be back this week and he hopes for good news.
