Next in line?
The big receiver is a spot that's really taken the football world by storm over the course of the past decade, and college and NFL coaches are always looking for playmaking wide receivers that possess that rare combination of size, speed and athleticism.
The run of big receivers has already hit the pro ranks and more future stars are soon to join the fold, with guys like Calvin Johnson and Dwayne Jarrett set to make millions of dollars following next year's draft. Who will be next in line to take the college game by storm? It's hard to say, but some potential candidates for the future have already begun hitting the recruiting landscape.
One player that has college coaches licking their chops is Allen's Dan Buckner. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder has already picked up several scholarship offers (including Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Baylor and Rice), and coaches from several programs have come by the school or sent mail to let Buckner know they're interested.
