Last season, Florida State landed three-star defensive tackle Ryan McMahon from Darlington Prep, which is a small private school in Rome, Georgia. During Saturday's Florida State-Florida game, a former teammate of McMahon's, punter Shawn Powell, took in the action.



The 6-foot-5, 215-pound punter/kicker wasn't just a spectator on Saturday, he was coming to watch a program that he may play for over the next four or five years. Darlington Prep head coach Tommy Atha says both Florida State and Georgia have taken an interest in his senior punter.
