Brandon Wood had his first season in Athens cut short by a torn labrum in his shoulder. UGASports caught up with Wood to check on his recovery and ask him about his first season in Athens.

UGASports: How is your shoulder doing?

Wood: "It is better and it is a whole lot better than it used to be because I can lift it all the way up now, but it still pinches."

UGASports: Do you expect to return by spring practice?

Wood: "No I will not be ready for the spring, but I will be ready for the summer. I will go through drills and stuff in the spring though."

UGASports: Do you think you will be able to comeback from this shoulder injury and push from playing time next season?

Wood: "Yes, I know I can."
