Sideline Video: White wins it all
Chad Simmons
UGASports.com UGASports.com traveled up to Columbia (S.C.) on December 2 to cover the South Carolina AAA State Championship. Future Bulldog Charles White helped lead Blythewood to the championship and we captured him in action. He read his keys, played his lanes, made his share of tackles, and led the Bengals to victory. Check out this Sideline Video here.
Prospect: Charles White
High School: Blythewood (Richland, S.C.)
Class: 2007
Position: Linebacker
Vitals: 6-0, 213-pounds, 4.6
Offers: Georgia offered White early and committed quickly, but schools tried to get in the mix after that.
Favorites: Solid commitment to Georgia
The Skinny: White showed his heart in this game and throughout the playoffs as he played through an ankle injury. He had a high ankle sprain early in the year, but when the big games came, White stepped up, and played through it. He was playing at around seventy-percent in the State Championship game and still had thirteen tackles.
White did a very good job of staying in his lanes, taking care of his assignments, and staying in position this game. He read his keys, took care of his responsibilities, and then made the tackles.
Here is exclusive Sideline Video of White in action as Blythewood defeats Timberland.
