Rivals250 athlete Ron Brooks of MacArthur High in Irving, Texas had a home full of LSU coaches Thursday evening as head coach Les Miles and wide receivers coach Todd Monken were there for close to three hours.

Brooks (6-0, 170, 4.4) who played quarterback for MacArthur rushed for over 1000 yards and passed for another 500.

At the next level Brooks projects as either a slot receiver or a cornerback. He prefers to play on offense.

The Texas product has already been on official visits to Texas Tech, Arkansas and Texas A&M. His two remaining official visits are to LSU on January 19 and Florida on January 26.
