Saunders hopes to visit FSU in January
Last weekend marked the annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and one player that impressed was Durham (N.C.) Riverside defensive lineman Weslye Saunders. He was one of the top performers for the North Carolina squad that won the game 23-16.
"It was a great experience to play with all those guys and the game was really fun, especially since we won," Saunders said. "I had four tackles, one solo. I only played about 15 plays the entire game."
His performance did not go unnoticed with several college coaches in attendance at the all-star game.
