Pre-game Storylines

Following freshman quarterback Joe Cox's late game heroics against Colorado, the Bulldogs found themselves in the middle of a quarterback controversy again.

Head coach Mark Richt spent most of game week keeping quiet about which of the two freshmen Cox or Matthew Stafford would start against the Rebels on the road. Richt did not tip his hand prior to the game.
