Dave Wannstedt and the Pitt football coaching staff held a Junior Day last Saturday, hosting a collection of top prospects from the class of 2008. The Junior Day events allow for the recruits to get a feel for the campus and a sense of what Pitt has to offer. For Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, Pa.) lineman Lucas Nix, though, the day was another in an ongoing series of visits to Pitt.

Nix's list of offers includes Ohio State, Michigan, Virginia, Purdue, West Virginia and Wisconsin among others.
