Yancich Seriously Considering UConn

UConnReport.com Washington (PA) linebacker Mike Yancich has had the privilege to play with a number of Division IA football recruits during his time at Trinity High School.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound outside backer played a significant number of minutes as a sophomore when tight end Andy Miller was a senior. Miller eventually signed with Ohio State.
While UConn was looking at Trinity's quarterback Cody Endres for its 2007 class, Yancich was impressive enough that the Huskies extended a scholarship offer in late October.
Since the UConn offer, other schools like Duke, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Pitt, Miami-Ohio and Vanderbilt have followed suit.
