Tight end is commitment No. 2
For the second consecutive year, Auburn picked up a commitment on A-Day. And once again, it comes from a tight end.
Last year, the Tigers received a verbal commitment from Marietta (Ga.) Walton TE Bailey Woods. On Saturday, Pace (Fla.) High TE Vance Smith gave his pledge to the Tigers.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder, who was recruited to Auburn by Steve Ensminger, received an offer from Auburn and didn't take long to accept it. He had been receiving interest from Clemson, Florida and LSU among other schools.
