Marietta (Ga.) Walton jumbo athlete Chase Thomas recently picked up two additional scholarship offers, one from a Big Ten program and another from a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Thomas recently spoke with Rivals.com about his new offers and gave a general update on where things stand in terms of his recruitment.

"Purdue and Maryland are the two most recent ones," Thomas said. "It's definitely a huge confidence booster. They are both two top programs in the ACC and Big Ten, two great conferences."
