Radovich Shifts Right
Senior offensive lineman Drew Radovich made a name for himself last season at left guard, playing alongside his Orange County buddy Sam Baker.
But Radovich surprised everyone on the first day of spring when he lined up at right tackle. USCFootball.com talked to Rado about the position switch and his expectations for the spring.
Coming off the practice field for the first time since the Rose Bowl, Radovich was sporting a huge smile. It was an awesome feeling for him to be playing again, and he was reminded of the great game he and his teammates played back in January.
"I was looking at my helmet and I have some Michigan scars on it, which is pretty cool," Drew said. "They haven't cleaned it yet, but that's cool though."
There isn't much downtime for football players, but spring break is one of the rare reprieves the guys get.
"I spent half of it up here hanging out and then went down to Mission Viejo with my parents and my dog."
