Tristan Strong commits to the Commodores
Loganville, Georgia linebacker Tristan Strong has been familiar with the Vanderbilt coaching staff for quite sometime. The Grayson High standout attended the staff's summer camps early on in his career and took a few unofficial visits during the 2006 season. On Saturday, the 6-foot-2, 217-pound all-Gwinnett product visited the campus once again and decided it was time to commit to the Commodores.
"The main thing is I love the atmosphere up there and it's right there in Nashville and that's great and the coaching staff is awesome," Strong told VandySports.com. "I love the linebacker coach, Coach [Warren] Belin, he's great and just the whole coaching staff. Coach [Bobby] Johnson, he's a great guy and like all of the coaches talk to my family and everything like that.
