NU Notes: Wilson most likely out for 2007
Besides the potential serious knee injury senior cornerback Zackary Bowman suffered on Wednesday, Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan shared some other serious injury news that happened in a non-football incident involving senior running back Kenny Wilson.
Callahan said Wilson broke his femur bone this week while moving a television set.
Wilson was already out for spring practice with a bone infection in his knee, and Callahan said his latest injury will most likely keep him out for the entire 2007 season.
"The other night Kenny sustained an injury while moving a television set," Callahan said.
"He seemingly broke his femur, which will put him out of action we believe for next year. He had surgery in Omaha at the Med Center and it's going to take some time for him to heal.
