Keenyn Crier working on consistency
Since the end of the 2006 season, there have been several changes in terms of personnel on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. However, one aspect of the game which is often overlooked is special teams.
With the graduation of Nick Folk, there are spots that need to be filled for both place kicking and punting.
Keenyn Crier, a redshirt freshman out of Spring (Texas), has assumed the starting punting role this spring and looks to carry his momentum through the summer into the fall.
"I'm kicking pretty well right now," said Crier. "Coach (Joe Robinson) shows me theses tapes of punters that he's had before that have gone to the NFL and gotten drafted. Those tapes have really helped me."
Since gaining more repetitions during the past week and a half, Crier has become significantly more consistent then in years past.
