Practice Report: Ready to fly
After two weeks of practicing under the tutelage of their new coaching staff, the Crimson Tide is ready to test their knowledge and play without coaching on Friday in their first scrimmage of the spring.
"The main goal we have as a group is execution. We want to see how we can do it without the coaches right there behind us," said DJ Hall. "I'm kind of glad we have the scrimmage tomorrow because you get kind of anxious to see just how powerful the offense can be."
The team worked in shorts and shoulderpads in a somewhat lighter practice hoping to reserve some energy for tomorrow's scrimmage.
"I thought practice went really well," said linebacker Prince Hall. "We're improving everyday. We've got a lot of mistakes we've got to clean up by tomorrow but even when we make those mistakes we've got to run to the ball and get our effort where it needs to be."
