Tide holds second scrimmage
The Crimson Tide held its second scrimmage of spring practice on Saturday afternoon in less than ideal conditions as heavy rains poured down during portions of the team's practice at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Head coach Nick Saban said the rough weather affected his team's performance on the field but was a good test of his players' ability to handle adverse conditions
"We made improvements in a lot of areas," Saban said. "It was a little difficult for the offense to function and in the passing game, we had a lot of drops. The weather was tough but we got a lot out of it."
