Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland County linebacker Terrell Manning is a strong candidate to be named one of the top five players in the Tar Heel State's class of 2008, and he was on campus in Columbia over the weekend to check out the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Manning also has offers from schools such as North Carolina, NC State, Clemson, Florida, Alabama, and several others.
