Washington prepares for Missouri
Ray-Pec running back Derrick Washington was one of the highest rated commits for Missouri in the 2007 class. Rated as the number five player in the state of Missouri, Washington made an early season commitment to the Tigers. Now that signing day has come and gone, he admitted that while the attention is nice, things feel much more normal now.
Washington said that since February, he has not had much chance to get to Columbia, but has kept in touch with Coach Andy Hill. He also mentioned that he has spent a lot of time talking with another incoming freshman, Trey Hobson and the two have become good friends.
