Ready to be a Gamecock
Milledgeville (Ga.) Georgia Military defensive end Jarriel King played alongside four-star Georgia Bulldog signees Jarius Wynn and Corvey Irvin last season, and many who watched them play believe King is the best prospect of the three. That's one reason the 6-foot-7, 285-pound King is up for consideration to be named the No. 1 junior college prospect in the nation by rivals.com, and why the South Carolina Gamecock coaching staff is eagerly anticipating his arrival in January.
"I can't wait to finally get to Columbia to start playing with my teammates up there," King said. "My heart is with USC and always has been. They've stuck with me all along, and I'm going to stick with them. There's no way I could turn my back and go anywhere else. I am a Gamecock all the way through."
