Four-star OL plans to enroll in May
For one Ole Miss signee, there won't be much time to celebrate graduating from high school.
Rivals.com four star prospect Rishaw Johnson graduates from Hammond High School on May 14 and plans on arriving in Oxford on May 27 to begin his collegiate career at Ole Miss.
Johnson said Monday night that he is good to go academically pending clearance from the NCAA Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse can't review a prospect until after he graduates from high school.
"I'm good to go," Johnson said. "I have scored a 20 on the ACT and I have a 2.4 or perhaps better on the GPA."
Johnson has been keeping in touch with the Rebel coaching staff and talks to running backs coach Frank Wilson, who recruited him for Ole Miss and offensive line coach Art Kehoe at least once a week.
