Richt seeks leadership and unity
Coming off of a season of ups and downs, Georgia head coach Mark Richt wanted to get back to basics this spring. He polled his staff as to what the Bulldogs needed to concentrate on and then formulated these ideas into his overall plan for spring camp. Looking back, he feels it was a success.
"We always set goals for spring," said Richt at a recent public speaking engagement. "We set spring objectives with the staff and then asked every coach to write down what his objectives were for the spring, for their particular position, and asked the offense coordinator to state what he had in mind for his goals for his unit. I collected it all and I read through everybody's notes, and then I basically got a consensus."
