Fitzhenry is ready to get back to work
If Brock Fitzhenry had his way, he'd attend Texas' mini-camp on Sunday with a clean bill of health and have a chance to test his skills against some of the state's top prospects. Fitzhenry, an early Longhorn commit, will make a position switch from quarterback to wide receiver when he officially reports to the Forty Acres in January, and he'd love nothing more than to go out this weekend and see how he measures up.
Unfortunately for Fitzhenry, he'll have to wait a little while longer. The 5-foot-9, 172-pound speedster underwent knee surgery back in April, and he's not scheduled to begin full workouts for another six weeks.
Fitzhenry will use this weekend to get better acquainted with the fellow Texas commitments - he met many of them at UT's two junior days and at the Orange-White game - and he'll try to pick up some pointers from the Texas coaches.
