Sardis (Miss.) North Panola four-star defensive tackle Templeton Hardy is a rare find.
While many heavily recruited interior defensive linemen struggle to meet NCAA Clearing House academic standards, Hardy is already fully qualified.
With 148 tackles and nine sacks as a junior, he's also the first recruit from Mississippi to garner an official scholarship offer from USC in the Pete Carroll era.
"They (USC) called my coach, so then my coach told me to call them back," said Hardy. "I talked to coach Brennan (Carroll), who came out here to see me play over the spring.
