The list of suitors for the signature of Marietta (GA) Walton defensive end Chase Thomas is growing, but the pass rusher is in the process of shrinking his personal list of favorites - one that includes LSU.

"They are definitely in my top five," Thomas said of the Tigers. "I just like their dominance in the SEC, and they have a great coaching staff. I've kind of been a fan of LSU for a little while. I just like the direction they are heading."

Thomas said Auburn, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Stanford and Florida are the other schools he's currently favoring. Thomas has already made unofficial visits to Auburn and Georgia Tech thus far this year.

Cornerback coach and special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto is recruiting Thomas for the Tigers.
