Looking to always bolster one of the best defensive line programs in the nation, the LSU Tigers are hot on the trail of one of the State of Georgia's best defensive ends.

Walton High School defensive end Chase Thomas is a three-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-4, 210-pound Thomas is rated as the nation's 11th-best weakside defensive end and the 18th-best overall player in the State of Georgia.

Making 82 tackles, including 14 for losses his junior year to go along with 10 sacks and a fumble recovery, Thomas has offers thus far from Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU, Stanford, Wake Forest, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Kentucky, Duke and Florida.
