New faces emerge in Monday's Fall Camp

GOAZCATS.com Everything about Monday's practice seemed to be different. To start, a morning rainstorm caused Fall Camp to be moved from Rincon Vista Complex to Tucson High School's turf, giving practice a different - and by all accounts better - setting.
On top of that, the players showed up in full pads for the first time, as they were previously just in jerseys and then in shells.
Arriving on the new field with the players was a new face. 6-foot-2, 190-pound ex-San Diego Mesa Community College standout Derick Barkum, who committed to Arizona in May, left for Tucson on Monday morning and got into town just a couple of hours before practice.
