The Big Cat Speaks - Hungry For Cheese
A badger can rightly be called a dangerous animal. It is small, but ferocious. The Wisconsin Badgers - Washington State University football team's first opponent of the year - are in that category, but with one obvious difference - those Badgers are large. Extra large, in some cases. Those Badgers are also ranked in nearly everybody's Top 15 coming into the year and if this were the 2003 Holiday Bowl team, there might not be much cause for concern, but it is not that team and the Cougars have some potentially problematic issues before journeying to Madison to take on these extra large Badgers - most notably the defensive secondary and the offensive line. In spring ball, head coach Bill Doba identified the defensive secondary as a problem area, but after the first week of fall ball, that issue is still left unresolved.
