Full steam ahead for Fitzhenry
When Brock Fitzhenry made the decision to undergo knee surgery back in April, it was a choice that he knew would serve him well in the long run. But it was also a frustrating set of circumstances for a guy that thrives on competition.
The surgery put Fitzhenry on the shelf for a while he was not able to participate in workouts with his Giddings teammates, nor was he able to work out in a Texas mini-camp in June at which the other Texas Longhorn commitments participated.
Fast forward two months into August, and Fitzhenry couldn't be happier with his decision. He's now at full strength, and he's looking forward to what should be an extremely successful senior season.
The 5-foot-9, 172-pound Fitzhenry and his Giddings teammates are busy going through preseason practices, and the early returns are looking pretty good.
