Pat Cowan talks about injury
Injuries are part of camp and the Bruins had their fair share this past session. One of them was to UCLA backup quarterback, Patrick Cowan. With Cowan sidelined, the quarterback position once a spot considered with solid depth is suddenly thin.
Ever the team player Cowan is helping tutor McLeod Bethel-Thompson to be ready if need be.
Cowan met with the media after yesterday's practice.
How do you feel?
Cowan: "I feel fine. I have a little sunburn, but other than that, I feel fine.
How is the injury?
Cowan: "What did Coach Karl Dorrell say?
That you will be playing tomorrow?
Cowan: "Then I'll be playing tomorrow. I have a slight tear in my hamstring, which just makes think how fast you have to be running to tear a muscle. So I guess I was running pretty fast on the play and my leg hurt. I fell and I'll be back when I'm ready to play.
