Campbell is developing his potential
From Curtis Greer and Harlan Huckleby to Clarence Williams and others, Detroit Cass Tech graduates have made some big contributions to Michigan football in the last three decades. So when Technician William Campbell came to Michigan's summer camp in June and put on a show, it was an easy choice to see that tradition continue.
A class of 2009 defensive tackle, Campbell's breakout actually came at the Penn State NIKE Camp where he turned heads with his quickness and strength for a young guy measuring in at 6-4 and 327 pounds. By the time Campbell came to Michigan's camp in June, the Wolverines were certainly aware of the young phenom.
