Sound advice may help Williams make noise
Notre Dame doesn't have much depth at nose tackle.
However, the Irish own personality to spare.
If eccentric starter Patrick Kuntz wasn't enough, Notre Dame can turn to the gregarious Ian Williams in reserve. The freshman can't match Kuntz's pseudo-mohawk coiffure, but Williams does equal the junior in disposition. Considering the pair takes abuse as much as they inflict it in Notre Dame's 3-4 front, it's remarkable that Kuntz and Williams can come to work with such smiles on their faces.
