Hawkins pleased with Wednesday's practice
BOULDER, Colo. - The Buffaloes' practice session on Wednesday afternoon ended 20 minutes late. But the extra work was not a result of poor performance.
"I thought it was really good," head coach Dan Hawkins said following the workout. "I thought they ran around really good yesterday, too. I was pleased.
"It is kind of that winning begets winning a little bit. You get a little wind underneath your sails and start feeling it. I thought they did a good job."
The Buffs practiced late at night twice during camp in order to simulate the late start time of their games against Arizona State and Florida State. But since classes have started, the team has been unable to practice late at night.
