Player of the Week: Tyler Hoover of Novi High School, Michigan SpartanMag.com predicted that the Novi Wildcats could be a force to be reckoned with despite a rough start. This week Novi defeated previously unbeaten Howell High School by a score of 13-9. Howell was coming off a big win over top ranked Milford. The victory by Novi has put the Kensington Valley Conference race up for grabs. Hoover helped anchor a swarming Novi defense that limited Howell to three field goals. Novi improved to 3-1 on the season. Next weekend the Wildcats will play undfeated White Lake Lakeland High School.
