Longo is off to a hot start
A Georgia commitment that doesn't get talked about a lot is Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) - Cardinal Gibbons defensive end Jeremy Longo. He quietly committed to UGA back in June and now he is quietly putting together a big senior year.
Longo has helped Cardinal Gibbons jump out to a 2-1 record in September and his numbers so far this year are very impressive.
In week one, he had 15 tackles and 1 sack against one of the top teams in the state. St. Thomas Aquinas won the game, but Longo gave it all he had.
He had another strong performance in week two and they got their first victory as well. They beat Northeastern High School 24-0 and Longo had 6 tackles and 2 sacks.
