Buffs to face OU team with 'no weaknesses'
BOULDER, Colo. - A week after preparing for a Miami (Ohio) team in which they were heavy favorites over, the Buffaloes find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum.
The third-ranked Oklahoma Sooners will come to town having defeated their first four opponents by an average of 49.7 points.
Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins said his staff has been "grinding it pretty hard" in the film room. He has come to the conclusion that the Sooners have no weaknesses.
"They can throw it, they can run it, they are big up front, they've got speed, they've got receivers, running backs," Hawkins expressed. "Same thing on defense, [they are] big, fast. They are very good in the kicking game all the way around: kickers, punters, returners. They are a very complete football team."
Led by redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Bradford, the Sooners' offense ranks first in the country in scoring average and third in total offense. Oklahoma's defense ranks fifth in the country and second-best in the Big 12 conference.
