Cooper takes in NC State game
One of the fastest rising prospects in the state of North Carolina is offensive guard Jonathan Cooper from Hoggard High in Wilmington. Cooper entered the summer with an offer from East Carolina. Now four games into his senior season nearly all the regional schools - NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Duke - have offered Cooper.
This past Saturday Cooper made the drive up I-40 to NC State for an unofficial visit to see the Pack play Clemson.
"It's a nice stadium," Cooper said. "They came out and played hard, but that was a good team they played.
"It was nice. It was loud and the fans were great. The only bad part about the trip was that it was really hot."
