Prime-time battle of top in-state recruits

AuburnSports.com Thursday night's matchup between Daphne and Foley has all the ingredients for a classic high school game.
The contest, which will be held on Foley's home field, will feature two undefeated 6A teams as the second-ranked Trojans battle fifth-ranked Foley. The grudge match between the two Region 2 rivals will be carried live on ESPN2 with kickoff set for 8 p.m. CT.
"We're just trying to keep it a Foley-Daphne game, a 100-yard field, and try to block some of those externals out," said Daphne head coach Glenn Vickery. "It's a big enough game without all the extra hype.
"It's a big region game for both of us. We're excited about the game and just have to go out and play well."
