Virginia Beach (VA) Tallwood defensive end Chris Johnson should get an idea soon whether or not he will be getting a scholarship offer from Connecticut.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Johnson has offers from Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Army, Navy, William & Mary, Elon and Old Dominion. Johnson also has an offer from Duke, but the Blue Devils already have commitments from two defensive ends, so he said that is probably out.
