Orange in desperate need of win
Greg Robinson and the Orange will have a chance to finish off their three game Dome stand with a win when the Buffalo Bulls visit this Saturday for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
But the Orange should be careful. Although they have beaten the Bulls by a combined score of 131-24 in the last three meetings, this is a much improved Buffalo team the Orange will face on Saturday.
A lack of preparation or execution could spell disaster. A loss to Buffalo, a team that only recently joined the ranks of Division 1-A football, could be the low point, and the last straw, of Robinson's tenure.
Robinson, however, refused to admit there was any extra pressure to beat Buffalo.
"The thing I say about pressure is that pressure is what you put on yourself and we apply plenty of pressure on ourselves no matter what it is. We need to win and it doesn't matter who it is."
In Buffalo the Orange will face a 3-4 football team coming off two straight conference wins.
